Top Trainer 2016, endorsed by the Association of Crane & Rigging Professionals (ACRP) and Crane Hotline Magazine, has named Crane Inspection & Certification Bureau’s Instructor Jesse Garcia, as a Top Trainer in the nation. This is the sixth time an instructor from CICB has been identified and recognized as the best in their field, signifying CICB’s commitment and dedication to the industry.

ndorsed by the Association of Crane & Rigging Professionals and Crane Hotline Magazine, the Top Trainer Award Program is designed to recognize outstanding performance in the crane and rigging trainers working in the construction industry today. Established in 2008, trainers from crane dealers, contractors, training organizations and other construction industries have been recognized for this award nation-wide. Today, Crane Inspection & Certification Bureau (CICB) is proud to announce that Jesse Garcia, one of CICB’s bi-lingual Instructors, has been awarded this recognition of excellence for 2016 due to his outstanding level of performance, his professionalism, and his uncompromising approach on safety.
The Top Trainer program seeks to bring attention to the importance of quality training in reducing crane and rigging accidents in construction and heavy industry. These distinguished trainers are recognized for having a positive impact on students, the work environment, and the industry as a whole through the use of innovative training techniques or hands-on instruction, by encouraging peer or corporate accountability, and utilizing quantitative or anecdotal evidence that the training was successful.
“The journey to safety starts with trainers who lead the way,” said Camille Singletary, CICB’s Marketing Manager, “and Jesse’s ability to understand and overcome the barriers that can be present during training, such as individual experience, language barriers, or cultural differences, keeps him one step above the rest.” CICB CEO Craig Epperson recently stated, “Safety is the first and foremost core value of CICB. In everything we do, from conceptual plans through classroom and in-the-field training, inspections, consultations and follow-up support, there is nothing more important.”
Since 2008, six of CICB’s twelve instructors have received a Top Trainer Award signifying their commitment to excellence and professionalism. “CICB acknowledges that one-size does not fit all when it comes to training,” said Billy Cook, Director of Sales and Marketing, “and the ability to customize our training programs to fit each customer’s needs and requirements, is what sets us apart from the rest.”
